CP-01ST Standard Center Point – Red Plastic Stainless Steel Tip
SLX Range: adjustable precision for heavy large-format panels
The SLX Range is the newest addition to the Fastmount catalogue, designed in New Zealand for architectural projects where panels are large, heavy, and require perfect alignment between adjacent pieces. With capacities up to 25 kg per clip (SLX-M25) and an innovative colour-coded shim system (blue 1.2 mm, red 3.2 mm), SLX compensates for structural irregularities without compromising the finished surface.
The SLX female is offered in multiple variants to suit the substrate: for drywall (F1.5R), for plywood (F40T), for plasterboard (F40R), all available in Fire Rated versions. Males range from 5 kg to 25 kg, covering everything from lightweight decorative panels to heavy stone or dense composite cladding. Distributed in Spain and Portugal by Riviera Trade.

Application guide
SLX is the range for high-end architectural projects: hotel lobbies, column cladding, interior facades in thin natural stone, resin panels, and large decorative surfaces where joint uniformity is critical. The shim system allows each clip to be individually adjusted to compensate for substrate imperfections.
For panels requiring anti-vandal locking (public areas), pair with Stratlock. For lighter panels without fine-adjustment needs, the Standard Range is more cost-effective.
Frequently asked questions
Shims are plastic pieces inserted between the male clip and the structure to advance or retract the panel position. The blue shim (SLX-SBR) provides 1.2 mm adjustment, the red (SLX-SRR) 3.2 mm. They can be stacked for greater adjustment. This achieves perfectly co-planar surfaces even on irregular structures.
It depends on the structural substrate: SLX-F40T for thick plywood (timber), SLX-F40R for standard plasterboard. Both have a Fire Rated (-FR) version for fire-rated applications.
Yes. Fire Rated models (SLX-M18-FR, SLX-F40T-FR, SLX-F40R-FR) comply with IMO/MED regulations. SLX is ideal for large decorative panels in superyacht salons and dining areas where maximum load and perfect alignment are needed.
